knew people
For sponsors

Sponsor the room, not a banner.

At an event on knewpeople, attendees slide into knew here on their phones. Sponsoring puts your company there — and puts the people you most want them to meet one tap from their notebook.

How it works

Four steps, most of them yours.

01

Join an event

You’re added to the event as a sponsor at the price you agree. You pay online through Stripe, and the event opens in your sponsor portal.

02

Present yourselves

Your logo, a line about what you do, your website and LinkedIn — written by you in the portal, and shown exactly that way in the app.

03

Showcase your people

Share your invite link with the teammates you want the room to meet — in Slack, a text, anywhere. Each opens it in the app and says yes or doesn’t. Nobody is shown without saying yes.

04

Be there, in the app

During the event, everyone in knew here sees your company among the sponsors, and your people on the Showcased tab with your logo on their cards.

Live numbers

Counted the honest way.

Your dashboard shows, while the event runs, how many of your people are showcased, how many times they were seen, and how many attendees kept them.

  • Seen means at least half the card was on someone’s screen for half a second — not that a list loaded.
  • Each attendee counts once per person, and nobody counts as seeing themselves.
  • Kept means an attendee added that person to their own notebook.
  • You see numbers, never who. Counts under five are held back until they can’t point at anyone.

Consent, first

Your people, on their terms.

A showcase is an invitation, not a listing. Your teammate opens your link, sees exactly what would be shown — their name and the links they choose — and says yes or doesn’t. Nobody needs their email address, and nobody is shown without saying yes. They can withdraw at any time, and it takes effect everywhere at once.

Organizing an event?

Run it on knewpeople.

We set your event up with its place and time, and your team gets an organizer page in the portal: who’s running it, who’s sponsoring, and — rolling out now — sponsorships you price and invoice yourselves, paid straight to you through Stripe. Attendees find the event the moment they walk in.

Tell us about your event.

Which event, when and where, and who you’d want in front of the room. We’ll come back with how it would look in the app and what it costs.
